Kena Bridge of Spirits on PS5

It has been a long time since we heard about the long-awaited Kena: Bridge of Spirits, the action adventure by Ember Lab which according to some rumors should make its debut during the month of March 2021.

And it is precisely for this reason that the insider GermanStranding, who in the past has already guessed Sony's next moves with its predictions, has shared a post on social media in which he claims that the game could arrive for free for users PlayStation Plus subscribers. However unlikely, it would be another big blow for the Japanese company, which in recent months has been pampering its users with a series of much-loved titles: only in February, players with an active subscription were able to redeem the Ultimate Edition. of Control (containing the free upgrade for PlayStation 5) and Destruction AllStars, available since day one for PS Plus users. If this prediction were to be confirmed by Sony, this would be the second month in a row to propose a brand new game in the catalog.

We remind you that the title does not yet have an official release date and it is not possible to book it on the PlayStation Store. Sony usually uses this technique to ensure that users cannot pre-order upcoming titles for free for subscribers, as happened a few weeks ago with Destruction AllStars and, in conjunction with the debut of PS5, with Bugsnax . It must be said, however, that in the comments to the Tweet there are those who suggest that Kena may be included in the PS Plus lineup later, ideally in May or June.

In any case it won't take long to find out which ones will be free games in March 2021 with PS Plus, as the announcement is expected to arrive later in the week.

Kena: Bridge Of Spirits, Solar Ash Get PS5 Release Dates At CES 2021

There are plenty of indie games to look forward to in 2021, and Sony has just confirmed that two PlayStation console exclusive indie titles are coming out sooner rather than later. You can expect to get your hands on both Solar Ash and Kena: Bridge of Spirits within the first half of 2021.

In a small text message seen during Sony Interactive Entertainment's CES 2021 press conference, Sony revealed the release windows for several upcoming games. Both Solar Ash and Kena: Bridge of Spirits are listed, with the former scheduled to come out in June and the latter in March.

From developer Heart Machine, Solar Ash sees you play as a mysterious individual who can seemingly glide across practically anything, speeding through beautifully stylized worlds and just as quickly getting thrown into frantic bouts of combat. The game is scheduled to launch for PS4, PS5, and PC.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is the debut from Ember Lab--the same folks responsible for that incredibly spooky The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask animated film, Terrible Fate, back in 2016. In this action-platformer, you play as the titular Kena, a guide who guides the deceased to the spirit world, relying on the help of cute black creatures called the Rot. The game is scheduled to launch for PS4, PS5, and PC.
