GoldenEye 007: the remastered Xbox 360 comes back to life
GoldenEye 007 is considered by all gamers a real milestone in the history of first-person shooters. Released in 1997 for the Nintendo 64 and based on the film of the same name released two years earlier, the title managed to drastically change the rules of FPS making millions of fans around the world fall in love thanks to its story but above all to its multiplayer, challenging and fun . In 2008 they even thought of a remastered, planned for Xbox 360 but never released again due to various licensing problems and so on despite being practically complete.

Some users have found and published a working build of that remastered, and it is still possible to play it on PC through unofficial emulators. The well-known VGC website was able to download it and verify its authenticity. The work includes the single player campaign as well as the beloved multiplayer. Already last week there was talk of this alleged discovery, and actually a long 2-hour gameplay was released in which it was possible to fully enjoy GoldenEye 007.

The remastered even offers to choose between two types of graphics, the one in HD or the original 1997 version. Bad news for those expecting an absent online multiplayer mode. Some statements regarding the never released project were also leaked online, the composer revealed during an interview that the remastered was canceled because there were too many interested parties and a conclusion was never reached. In short, as a matter of agreements we probably missed one of the most awaited remastered from the entire gaming scene. In any case, the original GoldenEye 007 will remain indelible in our hearts.
