Brave is also now available in an optimized version for the new ARM Macs with Apple M1 processor. The software house working on the browser released it, thus following the example of competitors Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Mozilla Firefox.

Brave: release for Apple M1 available

The update 1.18.77 that the developer labels as "last year" introduces today the novelty along with some other improvements that affect the Rewards system and the reproduction of multimedia contents from specific resources.

Chromium based (own like the market leader Chrome and the new Edge), over time Brave has earned the trust of a niche of loyal users thanks above all to the features implemented for the protection of privacy. In June, however, a secret redirect performed for monetization purposes through partnerships with sites linked to cryptocurrencies (Binance, Coinbase and Trezor) emerged: a slip.
