Surface Pro 8 getting closer: a new rumor
Microsoft's Surface Pro 8 returns to the center of rumors, after the first rumors circulated in early November and the appearance of a prototype. Having already been more than a year since the introduction of the Pro 7 model, the next upgrade in the line should not be too far off. Everything points in the direction of an announcement by the first months of 2021 and a subsequent immediate launch.

Up to 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB SSD for Surface Pro 8

The rumor today refers to the product pages (now removed) appeared on the sites of some European retailers which among other things shed light on the alleged technical specifications of the device: up to 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB SSD in the most advanced configurations will be reached. It is also possible to equip the LTE module for connectivity on the go. The beating heart should be an 11th generation Intel Core i5 processor with Intel Xe GPU, but according to some benchmarks, a variant with the more advanced Intel Core i7-1165G7 CPU could be offered.

On the card also a 12.3-inch PixelSense display with a resolution of 2736 × 1824 pixels, the same one supplied with the model on the market today. The design seems to remain unchanged, making someone turn up their noses, but thus ensuring full backward compatibility with the accessories already in circulation.

Thunderbolt connectivity, one of the most requested features by users, will almost certainly be absent. Microsoft has made a statement this year, explaining why we will not see it on the products of the Surface line.
