PS5 purchasable from Mediaworld: are the consoles already finished?

It seems that Santa Claus has put his hand in it, since as we write to you PlayStation 5 is back available on the MediaWorld site. The console is literally unavailable since it was launched, and in recent weeks it has appeared only sporadically in the lists of the main Italian retailers, always disappearing in a short time.

At the time of writing, MediaWorld allows you to add the basic version from 499.99 euros to the cart and to proceed with the checkout procedure, with delivery scheduled for Thursday 7 January 2021. We were unable to complete it, as at some point it prevented us from logging in with our account. Could it be the fault of the high turnout? Or simply a system error? Some of our readers report that they have managed to complete the purchase in the past few hours.

Update 12:25: we would like to point out that, although the "Add to Cart" button is still visible, the action is interrupted by an error. The stocks have probably run out.
