Lian Li updates its RGB power cables for the new GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090
Earlier this year, Lian Li had updated its Strimer cable line up with RGB LEDs for motherboards and graphics cards. But all that was available at the time was an extension for the motherboard's 24-pin connector and a dual eight-pin PCIe kit for the GPU.

Fortunately, Lian Li has now expanded his range of products with a new Strimer + Triple kit that includes a triple eight-pin GPU cable and an RGB hub. The kit is designed specifically for third-party GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 graphics cards that feature three eight-pin power connectors on board.

In case you didn't know, these extensions don't actually light up the physical cable of the power supply itself, but the cables themselves are covered in RGB-lit strips. So, in reality, there are two series of cables that start from the power supply and arrive at the system components. In any case, the end result, for those who own a tempered glass side panel chassis and love RGB lighting, is sure to impact.

This new Strimer + Triple kit also includes a small RGB hub which allows you to control the RGB lights according to your personal taste. The device requires a SATA power connection and an ARGB header on the motherboard.

Please note that this kit only includes the extension with three eight-pin PCIe connectors for the graphics card. If you also want the 24-pin motherboard RGB extension cable, you'll need to purchase it separately. The Strimer + Triple kit is offered at $ 59.99 in the United States, while to get the 24-pin Strimer you will need to pay an additional $ 49.99.

This is undoubtedly a considerable cost for products of this type, but the true fans of the genre surely will not be able to miss them.
