Goodbye trellis frame, Ducati Monster MY2021 is renewed
A difficult year for Ducati enthusiasts, who are seeing the world of motorsport of the Borgo Panigale company upset: after presenting the new Panigale which for the first time abandons the use of a twin-cylinder engine, after having seen the birth of the new Multistrada V4 without Desmodromic distribution, Ducati enthusiasts today are faced with another technical revolution, the Monster without the trellis frame.

The new Ducati Monster 2021 abandons its historic trellis frame, in favor of a new frame front frame type, which embraces the cylinder heads and makes the engine an integral part of the bike's structure, especially for absorbing the stress transmitted by the suspension. This crucial difference, combined with a number of other technical features, allows the new Monster 2021 to weigh 18kg less than the previous model. The uniqueness of the Monster look is lost a little, but driving pleasure and road holding are also gained thanks to the new rear swingarm.

Almost all new, the technical equipment on the Monster MY 2021, starting with the 937cc twin-cylinder Testastretta 11 ° engine, the same mounted on Hypermotard and Multistrada 950, with Euro5 homologation. This engine is capable of delivering 111 hp and 93 Nm of torque, the latter very present even at low revs.

But the rich equipment chosen by Ducati does not end here: new tft display for instruments, new headlight with DRL projector for daytime running light and LED module in the center, direction indicators with automatic switch-off system after curves, launch control, wheelie control, ABS and traction control that self-adjust according to the inclination of the bike, quick-shift gearbox even when climbing .. in short, this new Ducati Monster MY 2021 lacks nothing, and is offered at the price of 11,290 euros. There are 3 colors available: Aviator Gray, Ducati Red and Matt Black. A version with a reduced power of 35 kW which can be driven with an A2 license is also expected
