Cyberpunk 2077: CDPR for Day One Update - "another game on consoles"

Cyberpunk 2077: CDPR for Day One Update - another game on consoles
Our detailed review of Cyberpunk 2077 is online: CD Projekt Red has created another game highlight. However: During our test of the PC version, there were unsightly bugs and glitches here and there that the developers still have to address. A Day One update has already been confirmed and will be available for download in time for the release of Cyberpunk 2077. How the new action role-playing game will run on PS4 / PS5 and Xbox One / Xbox Series X has yet to be seen - tests are not yet available. On Twitter, however, Fabian Mario Döhla from CDPR confirmed that the console versions should also benefit from the Day One update.

"It's a different game after the console update," writes Döhla about the short message service. He also explains that many errors that the testers encountered during their review processes for Cyberpunk 2077 on PC have either already been fixed or will be ironed out with the Day-One update. He also adds that some errors also came about because testers may have played the game with higher settings than their setup can handle.

"Streaming issues are primarily. If the settings are too high for the setup, the game will not be able to stream the content, which will result in lost things such as animation, audio, lip-syncing and objects," writes Döhla and adds that Cyberpunk 2077 runs much more smoothly with adjusted settings. The developers have not yet published specific patch notes for the Day One update for Cyberpunk 2077. As soon as we get more information, you will find out as usual on our website. The action RPG will be released on December 10th. (buy now € 54.99)
