Cashback: with Hype you do not need the IO app or the SPID
In a few days, from Tuesday 8 December, all over Italy it will be possible to access the State Cashback (or Christmas Cashback as some call it) receiving a 10% refund on purchases made with digital payments. Among the methods available, without having to go through IO or SPID, there is also the Hype application.

How to get the State Cashback with Hype

The company makes it known with a press release that arrived in the editorial office. The section called "State Cashback" will soon appear in the app, accessible by all users of age, allowing you to connect the card and the corresponding IBAN in a few simple steps. These are the words of Antonio Valitutti, CEO of HYPE

Hype was born as a digital tool for the management of money at 360 degrees and, by its nature, encourages electronic payments. In this very important moment, with the launch of a State initiative that will change the way of approaching money, we could not fail to be at the forefront, providing our customers, already oriented to this type of behavior, a quick and easy way to access refunds. In fact, we believe that ease of use is crucial to accompany the population in this phase of change and thus bridge the gap that separates us from other European countries.

It will also be possible to keep track of the transactions carried out and verify the effective right to reimbursement. The accumulated amount will be credited directly to Hype's IBAN. If desired, you can also add the application in the IO Portfolio section. Valitutti continues.

According to Ambrosetti's 2020 report, in fact, Italy is today in 23rd position, out of 28 European Union countries, in the race towards the so-called "cashless society", a company in which the use of cash is reduced to zero. So much work still remains and Hype is ready to do its part.

We remind you that the Government Cashless Plan provides a 10% refund exclusively for purchases in physical stores. Starting from January, the recognized amount can reach up to 150 euros every semester and a total of up to 300 euros every year. The ceiling for the month of December alone, a sort of experimental phase, is set at 150 euros.
