Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Start of the first season with Yule Festival, new update announced
The first season of Assassin's Creed Valhalla is online. As already announced in the patch notes for update 1.1.0, the July season is now available in the action role-playing game. The entire season is set to last for three months and offers exclusive, narrative content and in-game events that are available to all players free of charge. The July season heralds the extensive post-launch plans that Ubisoft has promised for AC Valhalla. "Starting today, players can celebrate the winter of Yule with new challenges and rewards," announced the publisher.

In the announcement, Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed Valhalla (buy now € 89.90) the new season is to be enriched throughout the year 2021. Free content is intended to focus on gameplay and the development of the game world. In the recently started season you will first celebrate the Yule Festival. Until January 7, 2021, you can join the celebrations with a new drinking game, archery mini-game, fistfighting tournament and two new character quests. There are also new rewards, including a new set of equipment and new settlement decorations.

To start the Yule Festival in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, you must first reach England and complete one of the first narrative arcs, either Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire. The festival will then be triggered automatically when you visit the settlement. For February 2021, however, the developers have announced another update that brings a new game mode with the river raids. Because the river raids are heavily dependent on the Jomsviking recruits, you can recruit Jomsviking from your friends online to take on an entire crew. Raids with higher stakes and different levels of difficulty are announced.

An update to the Jomswikinger feature has also been announced for Season 1, with which you can achieve XP and a higher rank - the higher the rank of lieutenant, the more silver you will earn when you recruit from other players will. Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available in stores on PC and consoles.
