PS5: The loading times compared to the PS4 Pro
The Playstation 5 really comes with some great improvements: Thanks to powerful hardware, the console offers screen resolutions of up to 8K and a frame rate of up to 120 frames per second - and thanks to a new fan it is even significantly quieter than its previous version, the Playstation 4! One of the most well-known and most frequently advertised features of the next-gen console is the built-in SSD. This should make even faster loading times possible and longer breaks in play a thing of the past in the future. Launch title Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales gets along almost completely without annoying interruptions.

But how does the PS5 (buy now) compare to other games that have not yet been optimized for their GPU and CPU? And how fast is Sony's really? We tested the device against its predecessor and looked at how much life it saves you compared to the PS4 Pro. Our focus was primarily on extensive open-world titles from the role-playing and adventure genre, including Final Fantasy XV, Destiny 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2. You can see the results in our video special below these lines.

But before that, a quick note on your own behalf: So that you don't have to stare at loading screens forever, the gameplay and timer run in time-lapse!
