Google Meet: participant report and counter

Google Meet: participant report and counter
The Google Meet functionality introduced at the end of September for the school world, useful for automatically generating reports on online class participants, is now available for a wider pool of accounts. A feature that can be especially useful for those who organize meetings and meetings in the professional field involving a large number of people, so as to understand when the public has been most involved and when the attention has waned.

Two new features for Google Meet: participant report and counter

The rollout is accompanied by a series of improvements that concern among other things the possibility of exercising more granular control over the feature, obtaining reports tailored to the specific needs and allowing access to their consultation to members of their team, through the platform settings or directly from the appointment entered in the calendar.

To this is added an account counter newly updated in real time displayed in the upper left corner of the interface showing how many spectators are connected to the meeting remotely.

The rollout of the news for Google Meet has already started and will be completed within the next few days. They will be available for Workspace Essentials, Business Plus, Enterprise Essentials, Enterprise Standard, and Enterprise Plus accounts as well as G Suite Enterprise for Education accounts. On the other hand, at least in a first Workspace Business Starter, Business Standard, G Suite Basic, Business, Education and Nonprofits are excluded.
